First official dance class

I started dance classes! I will have ballet & tap every Thursday. Below is a photo of my class. They're all pretty cool chicks. :D

Our dress code for class is: pink tights, pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes. Leotards can be any color though! I'm the one in the black leotard (with teeny pink flowers on it). I decided to be a little different from the rest. Do I look fab or what?

Good weekend all around

I had an excellent weekend. On Sunday, I went to an awesome birthday party for another 3-yr-old friend. Had a blast! (sorry, no pics taken)

Shall we dance?

Guess what?!? I am registered for dancing classes! My first class is on August 31. I am taking Ballet & Tap. This past weekend, we got all of the required supplies and clothing. Pic of my ballet shoe is above. And here are some photos of me tapping away in my new leotard and tap shoes:

Weekend of Water (on the outside!)

Here I am in the pool at my Grams' place. I love being in the water! It's so relaxing just hanging out and floating around. :)

Also, I am learning some cool swim moves! I 'swim' on my belly...

Weekend of Water (on the inside)

On Saturday, I got to go to a cool restaurant with a big (I mean, BIG) aquarium of fishies. For the occasion, I wore my pretty blue dress with fish on it. How perfect is that?? As a bonus, I sat by the large tank and snacked on goldfish crackers. You shoulda seen how cool I looked! I'm surprised that a camera crew from the local station didn't drop by...

Here's me and a little boy looking at the fish. And, WHOA, did you see that?? Look up top. That's a dang shark up there! Good thing the glass is thick. He was eyeing my goldfish crackers.

"Hi Fishie! Hi! I'm sorry for eating some of your relatives."

Please stick with my color coding

At times I get thirsty. And it is during those times that I expect to be handed a drink of my choosing. And pronto! Thankfully, my parents have mastered this task pretty well. I give them big props for that!

So now, it is time to move them up to the next level of Lexi-drink-fetching mastery. This morning, I introduced them to the color coding requirement:

You see, I have cups in three colors. I expect to receive the correct type of drink in its assigned color, thankyouverymuch. It's only been 1 day. But so far, so good...

I really care about Care Bears.

Here I am, watching my favorite Care Bears DVD and snuggling with my brand new Care Bear from Nana. Ahhhh, life is good . . .
