Swimming lessons have begun! Having quickly learned to blow bubbles under water, hold my breath, etc... I am now learning how to properly jump into the pool!

Me and The Boyz

Here's me & my buddy Blake, playing dress-up. He's such a sport! :)
His little bro, Grant, looks on from the 'kitchen'.

I'm all, like, braided!

Check me out! I've got some little braids. Love it!!

Yeah, I'm cool.

A short break...

Hi everybody. I will be taking a short break from updating my site for at least a week. My schedule is gonna be packed over the next week or two, so I won't have lots of time! But with my next updates, I hope to have some really cool photos to show you! Including some pix of me being a flower girl. So stay tuned! It'll be worth the wait. :-)

Officially a HEALTHY 4-yr-old

Hi everybody. Today I had my 4-year-old checkup. Bad news: I had to get 4 shots!! Ow! No worries, they were just the typical booster shots given at my age. Good news: I'm not due for another vaccination shot until I'm like 11 or so. (whew) Also...I can't wait to go to school tomorrow and tell all my friends about my shots! (seriously) They will be SO impressed by my bravery and 'battle scars' known as shots. (hee)

Anyway, my doctor said I was in perfect health. Yay!!! I'm also progressing very well in my cognitive development. And my hearing and vision are excellente.

Other stats:
Weight: 42 lbs (90th %-ile)
Height: 42-1/2 inches (95th %-ile)

So as of now, I am a tall (and perfectly proportioned) girl.

Helping nourish new flowers

Recently, my Daddy planted some new 'annuals' (um, you mean flowers??) in the front yard flower beds. They were very nice flowers, sure to grow beautifully. Especially with MY help in watering them! See my patented water technique below.

We were so little!!

Guess who these little girls are?? You'll never believe this is ME and Lacey. Wow!! Have we grown or what? This photo was taken at the airport when Mommy & I went to visit Nana & Pappaw a while ago.

Interesting things:

- It was my very first time flying. I did exceptionally well and loved it.
- I was just shy of 2. Over that weekend we actually celebrated my birthday.
- Although my party was fun, I had no clue about opening gifts. Now that is hard to imagine! Oh gosh, I was just a kid back then. ;)
- In the pic, I am holding my still-popular "Sheepie". He sleeps in my bed every night, and I love to cuddle with him. Funny, back when I was 2, I called him "Seep". His name recently changed as I mastered pronunciation. (ha)

Last weekend of April . . .

I had a great weekend! I ate at a neat pizza place that had some COOL outdoor fountain thingies. And actually, I managed to avoid getting soaked. I only had a quick brush with the first water spouts. Just a LITTLE bit of my head got wet. Really! My parents were very impressed. :)

And later, I went to a ceramics place with my friends Emily and Margaret. We painted stuff, and it will be all done & ready next weekend. I'll have to post a pic of the final result of my butterfly!
