Playin' dress up

On Sunday, my friends came over to play "dress up". Ya see, I have lots of dresses/costumes. Don't get me wrong, I did not just go out shoppin' and buy all this stuff for the heck of it. These things are a combination of: costumes for last couple of Halloweens, dance recital costumes, birthday gifts, Christmas gifts, and flower girl dress. As a result, I gots a bunch o' pretty dresses and hair pieces. :)

After dressing up, we played in the front yard and also checked out the neighbor's Halloween decor. Neat stuff! We had a blast doing this, and I imagine Halloween night is gonna be amazing!!

You will notice below that both Margaret and Emily had already changed into other dresses. (hee!) But I absolutely refused to change from my Dorothy costume! Heck, I'd sleep in it if Mommy would let me.

Sad birthday wishes

Actually, what you see on the left is my puppy dog Frosty. Today (October 11) would've been his 11th birthday. Makes me so sad. He passed away when I was only 1-1/2.

Pictures below are of Frosty throughout his life. He was 8 when he died. I only knew him for a year and a half. As young as I was, I still talk about him all the time! In a short timespan, he gave me so many good memories.

Rearranged bedroom this weekend!

This weekend, we rearranged my bedroom, just for fun! Basically, we swapped my bed and chest. The bed is now sticking out instead of tucked against wall (and is more central point of room now). I like the changes and more 'open' feeling when I sleep in my bed. It's nice not being against a wall. And, it feels more like a 'big girl' room! Yay!

Sorry for the break!

I know, I haven't posted anything new in a while (coupla weeks). There just had not been anything HUGE going on.

But look out! I have some new and fun things to share from this past weekend. AND....October is gonna be a super busy and crazy month!! I already have plans every weekend for the remainder of the month. With Halloween coming up, it's gonna be W-I-L-D!! Well, in a 4-yr-old way. hee!

So don't give up on me. Stay tuned for some good events and photos over the remainder of the month!
