Happy 6th!!

This past weekend, I visited family to help celebrate my cousin's birthday! She is now SIX years old. Holy cow!!

Here she is, showing the card that me/mommy/daddy got for her. It's in the shape of a big, giant 6!

And look at the gift we got for her!! It's a big stuffed poodle, just like her pet at home. :)

The Latest B-day Party!

This past weekend was the birthday party of some very good friends. My twin friends, Emily & Margaret. They turned 5! Yeah, now we are the same age. But not technically. Cuz I am 3 MONTHS older than they are! And when you are 5, being the 'older one' is important! ;)

4th of July - 2008

Well sadly, this long holiday weekend is coming to a close. It is Sunday night, and tomorrow is back to another typical week. But...I sure had a fabulous holiday weekend!! We did a ton of cool and fun stuff. Including: going to our city's gigantic 4th festival and fireworks show! Did I tell you that I have never before seen a professional fireworks show?? Seriously! But I have now. And it was AMAZING! And to think that I was impressed before by my daddy shooting fireworks in the cul-de-sac. Um, now? Notsomuch. ;)

See pics below. There was a ton of walking involved at this festival thing. Thankfully, my parents bought a wagon in which to haul me around! That was awesome. I highly recommend this, as it is the ONLY way to go! :)

First sleepover with friends...

My school has 2 sleepovers in the summertime. The first one was last weekend. And lemme tell ya, it was a complete BLAST!

This is quite the 'milestone' for me. I even got to go shopping and pick out a sleeping bag for the occasion. See pic below. Pepper was helping me test it out the night before the sleepover. Well, it wasn't actually his choice to sit there! But he looks cute. And whether he admits it or not, he kinda had fun. I think.

Princess Tea Party

A couple weeks ago, I attended a 'princess' birthday party. My gosh, was it ever fabulous! Us girls got to:

- Play dress-up

- Get makeovers (with makeup, hair up-do, and nail polish)

- Have a "tea" party

- Dance (including the "chicken" dance and the "hokey-pokey")
